It's going to be my first love-making?Help

It's going to be my first love-making?Help!?
I'm getting married to my fiance in October. We're both virgins. He is caucasian(22) and I'm Asian(18).We've made preparations for our wedding night.Lubricant, massage oil, rose petals, soothing music in a private resort. We even bought more than 10 pairs of lingerie for me and underwear for him each from victoria's secret and freshpair. We have no clue what we'll be doing.Tell me anything that we're missing out or important.I'm especially scared because I'm the girl who is going to get abit more uncomfortable or even hurt. Also he's gotta fly back to Australia because he's got University and I'll be in Singapore finishing my nursing diploma. Is it emotionally tolerable for me to separate from someone I've built a very close physical bond with and someone I really really love? We met during my holidays with my family in Queensland. He was on a holiday too.Since then we've been talking on msn for 3 years. He visits every 3 months and me and my family visits Australia twice a year.I've known and met his family since I met him so no he's not here to screw me and fly back.I did my overseas attachment in a hospital in Sydney(he lives 1 hour drive away) for 3 months and we met almost everyday.

youre building it up too much!
2 :
When you have sex with someone, you get more emotionally attached than ever. In my opinion, I would actually wait until you're together for good, but I wish you the best of luck whatever you decide to do.
3 :
its going to be hard to leave him wen u guys have to seperate to go to school since he will always be real special in ur life! n u in his.
4 :
Don't worry. Worrying will only breed resentment. Marry him and be thankful you have someone. He won't be at University forever. As for the love-making, I congradulate you both for waiting... just be yourselves, and it'll come to you naturally. I envy you for the experience you're about to have. :-)
5 :
Did you meet online? Is he your source of knowing that he is a virgin? Are you making all the arrangements? Is he just flying in and screwing you and then flying out to Australia? If the answer to all of the above is Yes then please do some rethink.
6 :
I think you should relax a bit. The first time isn't always great but relax and learn together. You don't need all that stuff, just being together with someone you love is enough. I can't respond to the second half of your question because you don't give enough details but hopefully your separation with be short because your are correct in your worry about being away from your husband for too long.
7 :
Yeah, the first time is always a bit messy and confusing. Don't worry. eventually you'll get it right. You get to know eachothers' turn-ons. It is like bicycling - after a bit of practicing and a fall or two, it gets better and better. If getting a little drunk or high helps you both relax, go for it. Being too tense is never helping.
8 :
the first time is kind of boring...cus you expect ....welll nothing because you ...know ...uh nothing. So dont worry..Since you have no expectations it will be great!
9 :
good luck!!!!
10 :
Both virgins! To be helpful, you don't need all the appliances and accoutrement...you simply just do what feels good for both of you and explore each other where you have not before. If you need guidance here it is: sex is great, and sex in love is astounding if you simply put away any thoughts of denial or guilt and try your best to find what pleases your partner...and he you. Sexual pleasure is much more than genital contact...almost any loving touch anywhere can be a great prelude. A word of caution...whatever you've been told or felt in fantasy about sex, go slow and enjoy each step. It also helps to realize that like all things human...it gets better with practice so don't be disappointed if the earth doesn't move the very first time. Some will make fun and snide remarks about your question, because it is a personal intimacy that people often become uncomfortable discussing it. I have answered as if your question was legitimate and honestly curious. Let me also suggest you consider measures for planned parenthood. Get really good at sex, before you have babies.

How is it like working in New Zealand

How is it like working in New Zealand?
I'm thinking of moving and working there or in Singapore, but it looks like it may be easier to move to NZ. So what I'm asking is how is it like to work in NZ? Especially for teachers and nurses?

The rates of pay are lower than in other countries. I taught in the UK and found the "respect"for teachers not as high as it is in NZ, but thats not the case in all schools. I think there is more support for teachers from upper manangement in NZ than I had in the UK which does help. There are always going to be some things to deal with but I would say its going to be better than the USA.

Nursing sponsorship??? Emergency or Cardiology

Nursing sponsorship??? Emergency or Cardiology ?
I've got an invitational sponsorship from a national heart center in singapore. My parents are really supportive and encourage to take the sponsorship. They said i will be good for me in the future( carreer wise - icu). But i prefer to take another hospital sponsorship. This hospital is known for the busiest a&e department. Clear fact i love challenging situation and im reallt interested in emergency. But now i'm just not sure which hospital i should be bond to. In my culture there is a saying about parents choice for their children' parent knows what's best. So should i follow my parent choice or mind? Is working in the cardio department really that interesting?...
Health Care - 3 Answers
Random Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions :
1 :
Keep in mind, this is only my opinion. No, the cardiac unit is not near as challenging or interesting as the ER or the ICU. Working in the cardiac department, you see and care for only ONE type of patient....a cardiac patient. Granted, when things go sour, that patient can keep you busy and really challenge your skills and knowledge but, after a while, all your cardiac patients start to look alike. I worked in the ICU (both surgical and medical) and EVERYONE was different. I found the ICU to be challenging because you had to always be on your toes and stay one step ahead of catastrophe. It was a bit like detective work....you had to take heed of certain signs, symptoms, lab values, (etc etc) and figure out why things are happening. And take steps to prevent those things from happening. I enjoyed working with the sophisticated and delicate machinery and equipment. I enjoyed the challenge of the critical patients who were on ventilators and had tubes stuck in every hole of their body, plus a few extra holes that the doctor made! I also did some time in the ER and it was interesting for different reasons. Granted, a lot of what comes through the ER are non-emergency cases of people who just dont have insurance and cant pay to see a family physician, and that stuff gets really boring. Those are also almost always the rudest and most demanding people. (I dont know why). But, every so often, a true emergency comes through the door and it really gets your adrenalin pumping. Some nights, you never know WHAT you're going to see and almost every patient is different. Your main objective is to just stabilize them and then send them to the OR or the ICU for the longer-term care. I liked the ICU better because, after doing 14 years on the ambulance, I was ready for a little less chaos and something I had more control over. I dont want to go against what your culture has ingrained into you, but your parents dont ALWAYS know what's best for you. Unlike strangers, they always have your best interest in mind, but they still cant decide what's in your heart.
2 :
Dude, follow your heart man... Well I got no damn idea that in the cardio department is interesting.. But every job have their pros and cons.. In fact I am a part time psychologist and a full time education trainer, I have the chance to meet all kinds of people, from mentally ill to children to adults. So I have one advice to you follow your heart.
3 :
I love cardiac nursing. I find it very interesting.

What subjects should i take for sats

What subjects should i take for sats?
Im from singapore.. In my last year of secondary school this year. I will really like to study in america next year. As in college. I'm very interested in nursing. But here's the thing. Im not too sure of what subjects i should sit for if im gonna take my SAT'S Can you recommend subjects? And how many should i take? Thanks

The SATs have three tests they are Critical Reading sections, 3 Mathematics sections, 3 Writing sections. 1 Unscored section (and you will not know which one this is!). There are preparation books that you use to prepare for the SATs in any good book stores. I should also say that as a student from Singapore, you may not have to take the SATs. Check with the college where you applied. That should be the Admissions Office. Good luck.

Which pressure groups in the UK are campaigning for the return of the death penalty

Which pressure groups in the UK are campaigning for the return of the death penalty?
I have enjoyed spending much time in Singapore and have marvelled at how people safely walk around at night and also how families leave their children in shopping malls whilst they go to the bank. In the UK this week we see the murder of a policewoman and also a man who stole credit cards from a nurse leaving her locked in a car boot for 10 days. Quite simply criminals have free reign in the UK as they know the law is soft. Let me know if you know groups Thanks Jon

1 :
The death penalty does not create a perfect, crime-free Utopia. We had capital punishment in the past. We abolished it for two major reasons. One being that mistakes are made. Another is that it is not a deterrent. Crime still happens. It is no accident that the 13 out of 50 US states which have no death penalty, also have the lowest crime, and the state which executes the most has the worst crime figures. No serious politicians in the UK wants it reinstated, and it would be contrary to our commitments under the terms of the European Convention on Human Rights, which the UK drafted and signed in 1950, against the rules of the Council of Europe, and the EU. The real reason for the apparent low crime in Singapore will be to do with cultural attitudes, not to how criminals are murdered. I suspect that far from being the crime free paradise you describe, Singapore does indeed have crime, murder, robbery and the like. Iraq, Sierra Leone, Angola, S Africa, Columbia, Brazil, Venezuela, Russia, Turkey, China, the US, and many more countries (in fact 85 countries in total) have a worse murder rate than the UK. Granted, Singapore has the second lowest official rate in the world. But how accurate is crime reporting there?
2 :
I'm cynical too, but I don't think the death penalty is murder, it's a duly rendered punishment by law.

Am I eligible for Australian Permanent Resident

Am I eligible for Australian Permanent Resident?
I thought of taking up nursing in Australia and wants to apply to be a PR, is that possible? so I don't want to study there using a student visa. Are there any requirements first? But I am also a Singapore PR, is it possible to have 2 permanent residence country? thanks.
Other - Australia - 3 Answers

1 :
Yes there are a lot of requirements. You are probably not going to be allowed to practice there without an Aussie license so you will have to go to school there to some degree. And being of Asian descent you will be looked at very closely. The laws were changed several years ago with regard to asians immigrating to Oz - when it was learned that many chinese were paying people to marry so they could get into the country. Also there are bank account checks, criminal history and most visa need to be applied for before you leave your country of origin. It also helps if you have a job offer waiting for you in OZ. GOOD LUCK!!!
2 :
If you're already a Registered Nurse, provided you can obtain registration and can pass our skills assessment and points test and meet health and character requirements, you will be able to apply for a permanent visa for Australia. http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/medical-practitioners/nurses.htm http://nurseinfo.com.au/overseas http://www.anmc.org.au/ If you're not already an RN, you have no choice but to get nursing qualifications in your own country, or study here for them on a student visa. All Australian nursing training is university based. You can be a PR of as many countries as you wish, but in order to retain your Australian PR, you must spend at least 2 years out of every 5 actually living in the country. Oh, and the checking for Asians is no different from the checking for people of any other origin. Countries are either high or low risk and there are only 8 low risk countries (6 of which are Asian BTW). Australian immigration is completely non-discriminatory and equally qualified applicants have an absolutely equal chance of a visa, regardless of their origin.

Which is a better pre-medicine course? Pharmacy or nursing

Which is a better pre-medicine course? Pharmacy or nursing?
And can anyone suggest renowned universities for pharmacy in the US, Canada or Singapore? :D
Higher Education (University +) - 3 Answers

I'd recommend pharmacy because it's not as stressful as being a nurse. And you are more respected, because as the pharmacist you are the boss, whereas with being a nurse you are constantly shat upon by the doctors above you.
2 :
Pharmacy with a doubt. I know many people would say nursing but there is just as much demand for pharmacists in our society today. It is a great paying job, you can start out at $70K, I know a couple of people who have started at that salary and got some signing bonus on top of that. It's a great field if you enjoy helping people - health vise.
3 :
neither of those is pre-med. premed means you want to be a doctor. you are talking about being either a pharmacist or a nurse. I would go with pharmacy, but nurses make great money and have flexible schedules

I want to shift course. I don't want to take up Nursing anymore. Help me

I want to shift course. I don't want to take up Nursing anymore. Help me?
Well, I'm an incoming second year Nursing student. But I think I couldn't continue it anymore. Because its getting costy, in terms of tuition fee and books and everything. I want to take up Hotel and restaurant management since I'd like to work on hotels, and like to learn cooking and bartending perhaps. I'm also pretty good in Math, I can take up Engineering. But help me choose a course that could give me an oppurtunity to work abroad, like in Singapore perhaps. Help. Oh well. Gee. Thanks for all the help! I'll think things over but you guys have a good point. I'll be sticking with my course. No turning back this time. Thanks a lot, you all are great help. :)

If I was you I would look at all the classes I have taken and passed and compare them to the classes needed for other fields that I am interested in and see which would better suit what you are looking for in you future... Try temping for different places this summer to get an idea of what you want to do. There are cheap bartending classes online that you can take and try that also. Wet your feet in different fields but don't drop out of college. Trust me it will be your biggest regret EVER:)
2 :
Talk about opposites! You'd be moving from a career with immense life time rewards for you (nursing) to one where you'd have little reward at all (hotel/bar work). Don't do it. You'll regret it for the rest of your life. Nursing will give you loads of opportunities to work abroad. Stick with it.
3 :
I'd like to add my 2 cents worth here, too. I think that you'll find that, at least in the USA, the nursing field is wide open. In addition to that it is very klucrative! My partners daughter-in-law just graduated from college. She is a RN, fresh out of school and is commanding like 25 to 30 dollars per hour! I really don't think that a bartender or a chef makes anywhere near that kind of money. Hotel/Motel management is one of the lowest paid professions, if you could even call it that. Naturally college is expensive. Perhaps you should consider attending a State sponsored school.
4 :
If cost is the issue, consider student loans. they are deferred until you are finished with school. check out fafsa.gov and apply for federal financial aid. If it's the coursework, well, don't go into engineering, because it's much more difficult and in depth than medical knowlege. good luck.
5 :
Just get student loans! Once you are a nurse the world is your oyster - you can go anywhere as a Traveling Nurse.

How much would an animator earn in Malaysia and/or Singapore

How much would an animator earn in Malaysia and/or Singapore?
Kay... it's like this. I'm a M'sian and I LUV luv luv luv LUV animation (2D & 3D)! I absolutely adore it! It's my passion and it's what I want to pursue in the future. My dream... like many other aspiring animators is to work in Pixar and Disney.... But of course I'm taking it one step at a time. So now... I'm preparing to go to college and I know what I want to take right? But the problem is that some of my relatives think that animation is not a suitable course because it doesn't make that much money.... and that animation is for school dropouts who have not much option left. They want me to take a broader subject like computer science, I.T., nursing, or multimedia cuz I will have more job opportunities and be safer money-wise. I know it's totally ridiculous(though I didn't tell them that, of course)... cause animators DO make good money and it's not some trivial-last-resort kind of job either..... it's hard work. Besides.... I'm not doing it for the money, I'm doing it because I LUV it... But they mean well, and I'm grateful for them. However, they did make one good point... that is M'sia does not have much job opportunities for animators as other countries such as Korea, and the U.S... M'sia is just beginning to discover the potential of animation. It will take years before they become (if they becum) an 'animation hub of the world.' So if I become an animator here after graduating I might just end up designing or animating web pages for various companies. If I want to find real work I have to go overseas which my parents can't afford. So I guess my question should be, "Can a Malaysian make a living being an animator in his own country?" I don't want to end up having to do some small job... I want to create characters, I want to put colors into new ideas, I want to make my stories come to life and share them with everyone! But I can't just follow my dreams and not get a single cent... because I have to help my other siblings fulfill their ambition too. Are my relatives right? Should I take a broader course just to be safe or should I put all my effort and passion into specializing in animation? Are there any M'sian animators reading this? HOW MUCH ARE YOU EARNING? Give me some proof that I can show my relatives that I can make a living being an animator in my own country. Help me pls. If I have no choice but to go overseas, Singapore is my best option. I heard that they have a universal studio over there. How much would I make in Singapore then? anyone?

you will earn around rm800-1200 if no projects going on.....under project(which depends on how big that project)rm1200-2500...not more or less...dont think of SG coz they hardly involve in animations...they know they are not pro in it so they gave up.....malaysia itz freakin rare to get employed in this field...only serious project was 'upin & ipin' where the animator earned rm2300 per month...unless your dad is rich and u wanna do a brand new project under you then u might earn HELL LOTZ OF MONEY!!

Do the guys in Singapore think that Singapore should introduce some form of national service for ladies

Do the guys in Singapore think that Singapore should introduce some form of national service for ladies?
The guys have to do national service 2 to 2.5 years in Singapore for the country...isn't it very unfair to the guys that the ladies who do not have to sacrifice get away free for two years? what do you guys think about some sort of national service for the ladies like community service to old folks homes and attachments to hospitals to learn some nursing skills as in real times of war...we would short of people to take care of the injured soldiers...or have army national service for ladies and cut down guys national service time... it would definitely also make ladies more complete and let them have a taste of being all the way below as some of them never experienced hardships...

whats the possibility of moving to another country with a degree in Psychiatric Nursing?
So I am a male, grade 12 high school student here in Canada. I am looking into going to Stenberg College for Psychiatric Nursing after I finish high school. So I was wondering if this type of nursing is truly in demand and with this type of career/degree could I move to the either the U.S, Japan (If over there I plan on taking basic Japanese after I finish PN here in Canada), Australia and or even Singapore to work there as an RPN (Registered Psychiatric Nurse)? There aren't any jobs in the USA for nursing! Just google "No nursing shortage" or "I hate nursing". Please educate yourself on this field before you waste 4 years and tons of tuition on a dead end major.

You have to apply for licensure as a nurse in one of the US states. Writing the NCLEX is just part of the licensing procedure. You will have to provide all the information they require first and they will decide if you are eligible to write the exam. Even if you pass and get a license you will have to wait a number of years to get a visa allowing you to work in the US.They will need all the transcripts from your education for evaluation. Contact the BON in the state you wish to work in.
2 :
First of all you have to choose a state to apply NCLEX, then check their requirements. Based on requirements of most states, yes, you have to process docs in the Philippines like request for your TOR and RLE summary, verification of your license in PRC, fingerprinting in NBI if required by the state, etc. You can check my site for NCLEX application. http://nurse.nonoy.net/

I am graduating soon from my 2 years certificate in Nursing, I was wondering if I am eligible for any nursing school in Manila, Philippines? considering that I don't have any diploma..if i work for about a year in Singapore as an Enrolled/Assistant Nurse, am I eligible for entry? I'm keen to upgrade myself and be an RN. Many of the Philippines nurses here who come to Singapore have told me that nursing in Philippines is good, except for the salary. delive_rance I appreciate your reply but your comment about my nursing job isn't appreciated, since over here, its different. If you simply think of assistant nurses as 'janitress', you are not only offending me, but also offending other assistant nurses who have worked for 20-30 and still are satisfied with what you assumed,'janitress'. And, we are allowed to give injections, maybe not as much, as we also have a basic cardiac life support, just like RN's, our role might be different & less stressful but that doesn't give you the right to called it as a 'janitress'.

I presume you are going to graduate from a degree in nursing aide because it is only 2 years. Naturally you are eligible for any nursing school in Metro Manila. You will finish 3 more years to graduate to a BSN. Are you eligible for entry? Where in Singapore? Surely it depends on your employer if they need someone like you perhaps. Why not upgrade yourself first before you embarked on a quest for a job anywhere else in the world. As a nursing aide all you do is take out the patient stool or clean the hospital or ward or in short a janitress, they just sweeten the word NURSING on it, it is like a cake with almost nothing on it and doesn't taste too good but if you put on glitter and much funfare to the cake wouldn't you like to taste it naturally because you dress it up a little bit. Because you are not even license to use the syringe or inject them to patients. Yes that is quite true, the nursing schools in the Philippines are quite good and some are excellent in producing nursing graduates, some even top the board exams. And of course, the salary of a nurse in the Philippine is in a dismal state because the Philippines government have no funds to increase the basic salary of the nursing profession that is why more and more nursing graduates are going to the middle easter countries or other parts of the world or to the US to migrate and earn more than they should be earning.

2 :
Unless your bf is a U.S. citizen, you should apply for your own green card to immigrate here permanently (permanent resident alien status). Once he is a citizen, you can marry and your status will be permanent as long as you remain married. You each can pursue both independently at the same time. It doesn't matter where you marry as long as it is a legal marriage in that country.
3 :
It is easy to get marry but it is not easy to apply for a green card in USA. It will take from 2-10 years to get a green card if you are not applying by marrying a US citizenship. Since your boyfriend is working in USA now, he can actually start applying his green card ASAP without wasting time. If you are in nursing, it is a career in demand in USA especially in California. So it will not be a problem for you to get a job once you are here. You can get marry anywhere in the world as long your marriage is genuine. But make sure you both register your marriage first before applying for your green card. Good luck!

NCLEX Application of Filipino RN based in Singapore

NCLEX Application of Filipino RN based in Singapore?
I'm already a registred nurse in the Philippines. but im wondering, i'd like to take the nclex exam the soonest. what are the process that i should do? do i really have to get back in Manila for my every transaction? or can i just do it here? what about for the NBI Clearance? school papers? pls help.

1 :

As long as you can pass the certification test
2 :
Nurses always seem to be in short supply. Get a degree from a respected nursing school, and you should be in good shape. Talk to the US consulate or embassy in Singapre.
3 :
You would need to apply for a nursing license and they would assess your education and experience to decide if you were eligible to write the NCLEX exam. If you pass the exam you will get a nursing license. You also have to get a Green Card and that takes several years.
4 :
There has been no nurse visas available in the US since 2006 ... POTUS wants just home grown .. which is far better
5 :
You should apply for a US Visa.

Do something more worthwhile with your life instead of settling in sedated Singapore. Have you thought of China. You can teach English there. Their medical knowledge is so rudimentary. You can help change their mindset. Their first line of treatment for flu is the intravenous drip. Hospital X-rays are taken with Russian era equipments and everyone are qualified to interpret X-rays. Hospitals vie with each other and advertise for meds students on prime-time TV. Stay away from the abortion wards. You don't want to know what happen there.
