whats the possibility of moving to another country with a degree in Psychiatric Nursing?
So I am a male, grade 12 high school student here in Canada. I am looking into going to Stenberg College for Psychiatric Nursing after I finish high school. So I was wondering if this type of nursing is truly in demand and with this type of career/degree could I move to the either the U.S, Japan (If over there I plan on taking basic Japanese after I finish PN here in Canada), Australia and or even Singapore to work there as an RPN (Registered Psychiatric Nurse)? Thanks =)

many countries require you to get the schooling and training in there country or to pass there medical exams to practice medicine.

There aren't any jobs in the USA for nursing! Just google "No nursing shortage" or "I hate nursing". Please educate yourself on this field before you waste 4 years and tons of tuition on a dead end major.

bookshops in singapore
bookshops in singapore?
anyone knows about a bookshop in singapore-selling medical books; medical equipments, nursing stuff.....all the health sciences material? thank u!!!

Popular Bookstore in Majestic Plaza (Chinatown area). I saw this store selling alot of English medical books and even TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) reference books and other health-related books or magazines.
2 :
My cousin who is a doctor, told me about this medical bookshop in bra basah centre (and it's not Popular). She was telling me a funny incident, but anyway, I am not sure which level it is in, that you will have to find out. There are alot of bookshops there that you can explore, just make sure you go before 6pm. Alot of them close shop at around that time. I am not sure about equipments and nursing stuff.

NCLEX Application of Filipino RN based in Singapore?
I'm already a registred nurse in the Philippines. but im wondering, i'd like to take the nclex exam the soonest. what are the process that i should do? do i really have to get back in Manila for my every transaction? or can i just do it here? what about for the NBI Clearance? school papers? pls help.

You have to apply for licensure as a nurse in one of the US states. Writing the NCLEX is just part of the licensing procedure. You will have to provide all the information they require first and they will decide if you are eligible to write the exam. Even if you pass and get a license you will have to wait a number of years to get a visa allowing you to work in the US.They will need all the transcripts from your education for evaluation. Contact the BON in the state you wish to work in.

First of all you have to choose a state to apply NCLEX, then check their requirements. Based on requirements of most states, yes, you have to process docs in the Philippines like request for your TOR and RLE summary, verification of your license in PRC, fingerprinting in NBI if required by the state, etc. You can check my site for NCLEX application. http://nurse.nonoy.net/
