Is 108,500 pesos placement fee for a filipino nurse going to singapore correct?
I hope I am not being scammed. I just wanted to know more. Maybe the amount is legitimate. But I hope you understand how I feel that it is still considerably a big amount of money.

My front tooth just fell out, and I've had some sort of professional advice. What now

My front tooth just fell out, and I've had some sort of professional advice. What now?
I was playing basketball at about 1 hour ago, and my friend, when trying to get the rebound, elbowed me face when he landed. It wasn't painful, but my front tooth fell out. THE WHOLE ROOT. So, I've tried finding a polyclinic/private clinic/dentist but it seems to be closed until about 2 more hours. Then I called my friend's mother who works as a dental nurse. She said that I would get temporary dentures and possibly an implant when I'm older. So my question is: Will that hurt? And how much do they cost? I live in Singapore, btw. Thanks for all help. :)

You have not mentioned your age, but i assume you to be above 6 years with permanent teeth. You can keep the tooth in saline (available from drug store) or milk until you meet the dentist. There are 3 options as I can see. 1. The dentist will perform a root canal treatment for the tooth that has fallen out and then replace it back into the socket from where it fell. Then he will stabilize it by placing a thin wire on the inner side. 2. Implant planning as your friend's mother has adivsed 3. Dental bridge wherein the tooth is replaced with a cap

The best thing would be to have an implant, but you need to get a doctor to look at it for you. Good luck!

I have a son who is hearing impaired. I wish to migrate to Australia for his education and future.?
I am a Malaysian Christian living in Singapore. Desperately seeking job and help to migrate to Australia to provide education and better future for my son who is hearing impaired. He has done a cochlear implant and currently studying in Singapore. I cannot afford to stay on in Singapore as the properties are too expensive for us to rent or buy. How and what can I do to be able to move to Australia. I have 12 years of working experience in service industry. 6 years in food catering and 3 years working experience as a dental nurse.

First you will need to apply for a job in Australia, and you can search through goggle on job search in http://www.careerone.com.au/sa-jobs/science, and there are many more just type in your job type. Then when once you have confirmed a job, apply for visa and get information on housing and so on. Listen computer today has made everything so simple, and you have information on your fingertips. If your son is classed as disabled you might have a problem - you will need to prove that he will not be a burden on society (not require any medical or social help etc). A friend of my fathers was refused entry from the UK because of a deaf child, despite bringing in over 500K with him, it wasn't enough for the authorities to prove he would be supported for the rest of his life..

There is a possibility you might be denied residency - there was a recent case in the news about a German doctor who had moved to Australia to work in a rural town. He has a child with Down Syndrome and his application for PR was not approved because they deemed the child a burden on the health care system. Health care is free in Australia to citizens and PRs. Because of the outrage it provoked, they were later allowed to stay. In any case, I can understand where you're coming from. You never know until you try. All the best. The tech should have never told you anything. He/She is only certified to take the pictures. Not to diagnose you. Please follow up with your doctor. By telling you she saw something... she is breaching her scope of practice.
