Singapore - private nursing only $800 to $1000?
Many families of bedridden family members in Singapore look to nursing home for help, or they rely on maids for assistance. Nursing home is very expensive (S$1500 to S$3000) while maid is just not qualified. Private nursing is the best option. Many thought it is very expensive. No lah. Hi there, I am a Singaporean from Singapore. To be a nurse here first and very foremost your nursing practice MUST BE recognized and accepted by our medical councils here. Singapore is among the very top few in the world with world class health care system and has very high expectations from its staff. To be here you need a good qualification (recognized) and an APPROVED visa. The expectations here are very high. If you think that you have the ability or is capable then by all means try your best to apply here.

Higher education - Perhaps Get a job - depends on your expectations and why you want to come to Singapore. If you are expecting a wonderful and relaxed life like what they have shown in the movies then forget about it. SG has wonderful infra but the people are not that great and they are great at demeaning the service staff and giving a tough time. On the otherhand the cost of living is very high and salary is not that great with little career progression in your line of career. So make a informed decision.
