Which is a better pre-medicine course? Pharmacy or nursing?
And can anyone suggest renowned universities for pharmacy in the US, Canada or Singapore? :D

I'd recommend pharmacy because it's not as stressful as being a nurse. And you are more respected, because as the pharmacist you are the boss, whereas with being a nurse you are constantly shat upon by the doctors above you.
2 :
Pharmacy with a doubt. I know many people would say nursing but there is just as much demand for pharmacists in our society today. It is a great paying job, you can start out at $70K, I know a couple of people who have started at that salary and got some signing bonus on top of that. It's a great field if you enjoy helping people - health vise.

neither of those is pre-med. premed means you want to be a doctor. you are talking about being either a pharmacist or a nurse. I would go with pharmacy, but nurses make great money and have flexible schedules

yes that would work
2 :
maybe if she was a "horny monkey" lol or wanted "sex on the beach" with a "pina colada"
3 :
Possibly unless it was during a mudslide while a white russian flew overhead in a b-52 in the bright light of a tequila sunrise.
4 :
.....So you could go and have Sex On The Beach, with Margarita and Bloody Mary, while the White Russians were watching!
5 :
No the White Lady is really a Bloody Mary, so she would give you a Vampires Kiss and turn you into a Zombie.
6 :
sure right after a quick **ck! :)
7 :
After a good stab by the black russian i suggest a harvey wallbanger WITH the nurse.
8 :
Mai tai ask, orange you gonna miss B. lood Y. M.ary?

I want to shift course. I don't want to take up Nursing anymore. Help me

I want to shift course. I don't want to take up Nursing anymore. Help me?
Well, I'm an incoming second year Nursing student. But I think I couldn't continue it anymore. Because its getting costy, in terms of tuition fee and books and everything. I want to take up Hotel and restaurant management since I'd like to work on hotels, and like to learn cooking and bartending perhaps. I'm also pretty good in Math, I can take up Engineering. But help me choose a course that could give me an oppurtunity to work abroad, like in Singapore perhaps. Help. Oh well. Gee. Thanks for all the help! I'll think things over but you guys have a good point. I'll be sticking with my course. No turning back this time. Thanks a lot, you all are great help. :)

If I was you I would look at all the classes I have taken and passed and compare them to the classes needed for other fields that I am interested in and see which would better suit what you are looking for in you future... Try temping for different places this summer to get an idea of what you want to do. There are cheap bartending classes online that you can take and try that also. Wet your feet in different fields but don't drop out of college. Trust me it will be your biggest regret EVER:)
2 :
Talk about opposites! You'd be moving from a career with immense life time rewards for you (nursing) to one where you'd have little reward at all (hotel/bar work). Don't do it. You'll regret it for the rest of your life. Nursing will give you loads of opportunities to work abroad. Stick with it.

I'd like to add my 2 cents worth here, too. I think that you'll find that, at least in the USA, the nursing field is wide open. In addition to that it is very klucrative! My partners daughter-in-law just graduated from college. She is a RN, fresh out of school and is commanding like 25 to 30 dollars per hour! I really don't think that a bartender or a chef makes anywhere near that kind of money. Hotel/Motel management is one of the lowest paid professions, if you could even call it that. Naturally college is expensive. Perhaps you should consider attending a State sponsored school.
4 :
If cost is the issue, consider student loans. they are deferred until you are finished with school. check out fafsa.gov and apply for federal financial aid. If it's the coursework, well, don't go into engineering, because it's much more difficult and in depth than medical knowlege. good luck.
5 :
Just get student loans! Once you are a nurse the world is your oyster - you can go anywhere as a Traveling Nurse.

What is the best college to attend to in America, San Fransisco, for a bachelors degree in nursing

What is the best college to attend to in America, San Fransisco, for a bachelors degree in nursing ?
Hello there, i'm a 16 year old secondary school student in Singapore, (Singapore Citizen) sitting for my N'Level examinations in October. I'm in the normal technical stream. Which means, i'm only taking Science, English, Math, Malay Language and Computer applications. I'm planning on taking my SAT's in November right after i take my N's. What kind of marks must i achieve in my SAT's to go to a good nursing college in San Fransisco? and can you please also recommend a good college for me to go to? A one which is not very costly perhaps? Im planning on taking a Bachelors degree. And also, what are the things i can do right now to help me prepare for a good start next year in my nursing course?
